Sliding doors
Sliding doors find application mainly in large glass walls and in places where there is a little space in the interior.
Standard sliding doors are structurally identical with the balcony door. When you close the both sliding and fixed sections are in one plane. When you open the sliding part drives out in front of the fixed section (towards the interior) and moves sideways. At the bottom there is the same as for the standard balcony door, sash frame with the weather board.
The sliding mechanical system includes also a folding leaf position for ventilation.
Slading doors can be manufactured in two variants.
- the first variant PSK160 is the classic shift, when the leaf after opening must be displaced by own power and then it can be only pushed to the side. This variant is used for smaller leafs.
- the second variant PSK200 Z, so called „coupled scissors“. This variant has an adapted fitting transmission, so by simply turning the handle the leaf itself shifts and afterwards it can be pushed to the side. This variant can be used also for bigger leafs.
- Sliding doors can be made in single or double leaf variant, or in various combinations thereof.
- Benefit of this type of sliding doors is their high variability, it is possible to produce different sized assemblies in combination with other window elements. Often then they create elegant glass surfaces, such as on the south side on a facade or as part of a winter garden. They are popular also in smaller spaces where the classical openable leafs would not be practical.
