Sliding Doors HS portal
These are special sliding doors which find their place particularly when there is a need of large areas glazing (south facade). They allow to open a large space with a minimum area dividing. This solution will mainly find its application in modern architecturally designed new buildings. Another great advantage of these doors is wheelchair accessible, unlike traditional sliding doors.
Special sliding walls HS portal are quite different from standard sliding doors. The assembly consists of a solid deeper frame, into which are mounted sliding and fixed parts by means of a special system with pushing away and lifting fittings. The sliding leafs are placed in a different plane than the rigid elements. Manipulation with sliding leafs is convenient and easy – simply by moving the handle the leaf is lifted and then it can be easily shifted. Weight of the pushed leaf is transmitted directly to the doorstep, so this system allows to use of much larger leafs than the standard design used by a sliding door. The bottom part forms a lowered aluminium threshold, which is largely inserted under the floor line and only 20cm above the floor line.
These sliding doors HS portal can be manufactured in single or double version (see the most common variants below). Great advantage of this type is a posibility to produce any larger sliding door. Other advantages include wheelchair access, convenient opening and leaf displacement and a very atractive appearance.
