Folding doors
These balcony folding doors have a use where we want to open up a large area and we have no interest in this area to be divided with doorposts after opening.
Folding walls are structurally identical to the standard balcony doors. When you close the leafs are all in one line. When opening the wall opens and consists out of the interior towards the jamb to the sides. At the bottom there is the same as for standard balcony doors, a sash frame with weather board. This type of folding door can be made with low aluminium threshold. Separately openable leaf consists also a tilting leaf position for ventilation and micro-ventilation (see diagrams 321, 431 or 541).
These folding assemblies can be manufactured in three- to five-leafs design.
The advantage of this type of folding walls is the posibility to glass a great area of a large width. They can be also diversely combined with other window elements along both sides.
